Notable: the hypopnea WoW acceleration flagged on 09-07 and 09-08 is still there (+43.8%) — tonight's single hypopnea is helpful but doesn't undo the week's picture. AHI level is essentially flat WoW, but the event mix keeps shifting.

High- vs low-leak bucket comparison (split at Leak_Avg median = 0.79 L/min):

Directional: low-leak nights average 1.5 pp more deep sleep. Tonight sat in the low-leak bucket (Leak_Avg 0.63 < 0.79 median), and deep sleep at 15.10% is -0.3 pp below the low-leak bucket mean — very close to what leak alone would predict for a low-leak night. Consistent with the leak-improvement / architecture-improvement pairing.

Interpretation

Recovery night. The four-day deep-sleep suppression pattern (which had crossed yesterday's "three of four" trigger threshold) did not extend to a fifth night. Deep 15.10% is back above the 30d baseline. REM 29.01% is not just back to baseline — it's a recent-window high. Awake time 2.5 min is at the low extreme of Watch data. On paper this is one of the best sleep-architecture nights in the recent record.

The device may have driven the recovery. Pressure_Avg 7.68 and Pressure_90 10.52 are both the highest values in the recent 10-night set. The AutoSet has been responding to the accumulated flow-limit signal all week, and tonight it pushed harder — the pressure escalation coincided with AHI dropping to 1.40 (-27% vs baseline) and hypopneas dropping to 1 (down from 5 last night). Higher pressure suppressed events. But note: FL exposure went UP (Min_Above_010 20.5, second-highest in the 10-night window; FL_p95 back at 0.11). So the pressure is preventing events without fully preventing flow limitation. The underlying airway physiology hasn't changed; the device is just working harder.

Leak resolved without intervention. Two nights of Leak_90 = 3.6 turned into a single night of Leak_90 = 1.2. The "act soon" leak flag from yesterday can be de-escalated — this was a transient issue, not a durable mask-fit failure. Leak_Avg 0.63 is below baseline. Interestingly, better leak + higher pressure is an unusual combination (higher pressure usually stresses the seal more) — one hypothesis is that the user slept in a different position tonight (or shifted less), reducing mask displacement.

The FL story is the one still pointing sideways. Even with events suppressed and leak resolved, Min_Above_010 hit 20.5 min tonight — nearly matching the recent high. Over the last 7 days, Min_Above_010 has averaged 15.91 (+29% vs recent avg). FL_p99 0.23 and FL_max 0.50 are both recent highs. The device is compensating with pressure, but the underlying airway is doing more narrowing work than it was a month ago. This isn't a crisis — AHI is well-controlled — but it's the signal that would need to change if the user wanted to see FL-linked disruption resolve rather than get pressure-managed.

CA=1 continues. Now 4 of last 9 nights with ≥ 1 central apnea. Still low absolute counts, still not clinically concerning, but the persistence is real. Recent 7d CA avg 0.43 vs prior 7d 1.29 (-55.6% WoW), so the direction is favorable — just not zero.

Awake time of 2.5 min bears a caveat. Efficiency at 99.3% is high enough that measurement uncertainty starts to matter. The Watch typically reports 5–15 min of awake time; 2.5 min is at the low tail. If the user subjectively felt he was awake more than a couple of minutes overnight, the Watch may have under-detected some brief arousals. That said, low awake time is directionally consistent with the improved deep+REM percentages and reduced fragmentation.

Total sleep 6h 19m is close to the 7d and 30d averages — no window story tonight.

Watch items updated: - Deep-sleep suppression — flag DE-ESCALATED. Tonight broke the pattern (15.10% vs 30d 13.36%). Continue to watch, but the four-day trend appears interrupted. - REM % — flag DE-ESCALATED. 29.01% is a recent-window high. Yesterday's newly-flagged REM concern didn't materialize. - Leak — flag DE-ESCALATED. Leak_Avg 0.63 and Leak_90 1.2 are back below baseline after two elevated nights. - FL exposure — flag PERSISTS. 20.5 min above 0.10 tonight, FL_p95 back at 0.11 threshold. Even with pressure escalation, the airway signal isn't quiet. This is the flag most worth continued attention. - Pressure escalation — new watch item. Pressure_Avg and Pressure_90 both at 10-night highs. Not a problem by itself — AutoSet is doing its job — but if pressure keeps drifting up (Pressure_90 has moved from a 09-06 low of 9.44 to tonight's 10.52 in three days), that's the mechanism by which FL is being managed. If Pressure_90 approaches 11.5+ (the ceiling of tonight's max), that would warrant a settings review. - Hypopnea WoW. Still +43.8% recent vs prior 7d, though tonight's single hypopnea helps. Track another few nights. - CA count. 4 of last 9 nights with ≥ 1 CA. Continue monitoring.

Subjectively: This should feel like a good sleep. Deep + REM both strong, near-zero awake time, 6h 19m of total sleep. If the user woke up feeling rested this morning, the data supports that. If he didn't, the low awake time deserves a second look (see caveats).
