Sources: health-report-2026-07-19-to-2026-07-20.json (Apple Watch sleep stages, exported 09:43 on 07-20) + OSCAR_Greg_by_Day_2026-07-19.csv (ResMed AirSense/AirFlow 11 via OSCAR). Matched by calendar date of sleep-session start (23:22 on 07-19).
Leak avg = 0.92 L/min — highest since Jun 27 (2.92 L/min), and a 4-night rising trend (0.13 → 0.27 → 0.54 → 0.92 L/min from Jul 16–19). This is now a sustained escalation, not a one-night spike. Over the same 4 nights, deep sleep has declined steadily (16.6% → 16.4% → 14.7% → 10.1%) and awake time has worsened on 2 of 3 nights (12.5 → 7.0 → 36.6 → 14.0 min). The correlation is directionally consistent across all matched nights (see Section 2).
Deep sleep = 10.1% (35.6 min) — the lowest recorded in the full matched dataset. The prior range across 8 matched nights was 11.4–19.3%; tonight falls below that floor. Deep sleep below 12% is uncommon in this data and has previously co-occurred with elevated RERA or high AHI (e.g., 07-12: 12.6% / RERA=3; 07-13: 11.4% / RERA=3). Tonight, neither AHI (1.29) nor RERA (1) is elevated — suggesting the architectural disruption is not primarily respiratory-event-driven, and the rising leak is the most plausible candidate.
AHI = 1.29 — best therapeutic result in weeks, second only to the Jun 15–22 near-zero baseline. Low AHI with poor sleep architecture is a notable dissociation: respiratory events are controlled, but sleep quality continues to decline. This argues that the current issue is mask seal / leak rather than residual apnea.
RERA returns to 1 after two RERA=0 nights. Not alarming at 1, but the two-night RERA=0 resolution has not persisted. RERA remains far below the Jul 12–16 streak average of 3.2/night.

Directional summary: Leak has risen 7× in 4 nights (0.13 → 0.92 L/min). Over the same window, deep sleep fell from 16.6% to 10.1% (−6.5 pp), and REM fell from 30.0% peak (Jul 17) to 17.0% (−13 pp). Awake time was chaotic (spike on Jul 18, partial recovery Jul 19) but the 2-night average (25.3 min) remains well above the prior 4-night average (8.8 min, Jul 14–17).
Splitting by leak threshold (≤ 0.30 vs. > 0.30 L/min, all 9 matched nights):
Adding tonight, the higher-leak group averages 8.8 more awake minutes (+74%) and 4.3% less deep sleep vs. the low-leak group. The trend is consistent across all four high-leak nights, strengthening the prior observation.
The leak max values (25.2 Jul 18, 24.0 Jul 19) on both nights suggest the same intermittent acute-event leak mechanism — not a sustained drifting seal. A loose headgear fit, mouth breathing, or a consistent positional shift may be the underlying cause.

Current week shows the lowest AHI average across all weeks, but RERA and leak are both above the last two weeks. RERA is recovering from the Jul 12–16 peak (3.25/night) and is tracking closer to prior normal. Leak 0.45 for the week is between the zero-baseline (untracked) and the high-leak Jun 22–28 period.
